Former Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi praised the Attorney General’s office for releasing a lengthy recap, totaling three pages, of the presentation leading up to the grand jury’s decision, concerning lawsuits coming over shots fired at unarmed teens’ car by a state trooper last summer.
The level of detail, I thought, was impressive,” said Bianchi, an oft-featured legal analyst on Fox News, MSNBC and elsewhere. Bianchi said that Barreau (the state trooper), as a law enforcement officer, was within his rights to pursue the teens as he did. “You have to remember the police are given added responsibilities,” Bianchi said.
