New Jersey Child Support Guidelines Updates

On April 2, 2024, the New Jersey Supreme Court adopted the annual revisions to the Child Support Guidelines for:  Appendix IX-A (“Considerations in the Use of Child Support Guidelines”), including the self-support reserve for parents at or near the poverty level, the Shared-Parenting Primary Household Net Income Thresholds, and the Extreme Parental Income Situations; Appendix IX-B (“Use of the Child Support Guidelines – General Information; Line Instructions for the Sole-Parenting Worksheet; Line Instructions for the Shared-Parenting Worksheet”), including a note on Social Security Taxes and a section for Maintaining a Self-Support Reserve; and Appendix IX-H (“Combined Tax Withholding Tables for Use with the [Child] Support Guidelines”).
