Former Prosecutors Return to Morris County and Expand Team

THE BIANCHI LAW GROUP, LLC has returned to Morris County, where Robert A. Bianchi served as the County Prosecutor and his partner, David J. Bruno, served as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Major Crimes Unit.  The Bianchi Law Group, LLC is a team of former prosecutors who handle criminal defense, domestic violence restraining orders, DUI, municipal court cases, and appeals.

For the last eight years, The Bianchi Law Group, LLC served New Jersey clients from its headquarters in West Caldwell.  Now, The Bianchi Law Group, LLC is based out of a state-of-the-art campus at 8 Campus Drive in Parsippany, at the crossroads of Interstate 80 and Interstate 287.  This new, modern home for The Bianchi Law Group, LLC is equipped with the geographic access and technology to serve clients throughout New Jersey.  Whether the client wants an in-person meeting or prefers a remote connection, The Bianchi Law Group, LLC’s new home meets clients’ different needs and comfort levels.

The Bianchi Law Group, LLC remains committed to a holistic approach.  Bianchi and Bruno are trial-tested advocates who understand that the sorts of situations they handle often intersect with other issues.  Their service as prosecutors has connected them to experts, investigators, and other professionals who can assist with the defense of the client and with other personal problems that are undermining the client’s quality of life.  Their compassionate, trauma-informed approach to litigating cases helps them achieve meaningful results for their clients.

Bianchi and Bruno are also zealous advocates whose skills are recognized by the New Jersey Supreme Court. They are two of only two-hundred-fifty Certified Criminal Trial Attorneys identified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as having the experience, expertise, and credentials to prepare and take a case to trial. Consequently, The Bianchi Law Group, LLC is in the unique and trusted position to pay attorneys in complementary practice areas for referrals, enabling The Bianchi Law Group, LLC to connect with and help more people.

In addition to returning to Morris County, The Bianchi Law Group, LLC has expanded with two more former prosecutors who share their values and experience:  Danielle M. Esposito and Kayla E. Rowe.  Esposito and Rowe have worked together before, when they were Assistant Prosecutors in Essex County.

Esposito brings with her experience with every stage of a criminal case, having been one of the first prosecutors in the State to handle pretrial detention hearings to having tried criminal cases before juries in the busiest county in the State.  She is well-versed in alternative disposition programs and, like Bianchi and Bruno, can connect clients with crucial quality-of-life services to help them manage the trauma of going through the criminal justice process.  For Esposito, “It’s not just about handling the criminal charge. . . It’s about handling them as the individual.”

Rowe brings a unique perspective as a former appellate prosecutor, having served with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General.  She has argued before the Appellate Division and the New Jersey Supreme Court as the attorney for the State and in the capacity as amicus curiae, or friend of the court.  She is excited to use that experience of in-depth research and writing to help the trial attorneys at The Bianchi Law Group, LLC strategize the investigation, research, and development of clients’ matters.  In addition, Rowe expands the litigation services offered at The Bianchi Law Group to appeals, resulting in continuity for clients and the protection of their constitutional rights at all stages of the case.  More importantly, offering experienced appellate litigation services means that even a setback is not necessarily final.

Uniquely, Bianchi and Bruno will only hire former prosecutors to their team of attorneys.  “The fact is that former prosecutors are best equipped to represent defendants in my mind, Bianchi noted. “They have learned the cutting-edge techniques in the criminal field, have spent many hours learning the artform of trial work and investigations, have been trained to work as a team to bring better results, and know-how prosecutors think and act when they are negotiating a case on behalf of one of our clients,” said Bianchi.

Of these two new attorneys, Bianchi said, “It’s too important to just throw anyone into the mix.  We only hire former prosecutors at our law firm, because they understand how to best defend people charged with crimes.  They understand the stresses and concerns prosecutors have and, therefore, they are better able to leverage this knowledge on behalf of our criminal defense clients.”
