Robert A. Bianchi, Esq. served as the Morris County Prosecutor from 2007-2013. He is one of the most experienced attorneys in New Jersey in the area of police practices, criminal trial practice, criminal prosecution, criminal defense, and Federal and State civil rights law.
Mr. Bianchi’s has handled numerous civil rights cases on behalf of citizens against errant police officers and agencies prior to his appointment as the chief law enforcement officer of Morris County. These cases included matters of excessive force, malicious prosecution, false arrest.
After his appointment as the head County Prosecutor, Mr. Bianchi implemented significant improvements in police accountability practices, improved Internal Affairs Practices, as well as Early Warning Detection Systems to “flag” officers that were problematic within the law enforcement community he was in charge of as the County Prosecutor.
As a result of his practical skills and training, then Prosecutor Bianchi was asked by the Attorney General of New Jersey to assist in revamping the entire state’s Internal Affairs directives in New Jersey that applied to every law enforcement agency in the State.

While an Assistant Prosecutor under then Prosecutor Bianchi, Mr. Bruno was given the tremendous responsibility of being in the Professional Standards Unit.
